Eco Council
Kilrea Primary School is really proud to be a Green Flag school. In Kilrea our aim is to involve all the children in practical environmental actions in the school and wider community. We have an enthusiastic and dedicated committee of 10 pupils who discuss ideas, organise events and encourage everyone in our school to be more environmentally friendly. We all enjoy taking part in a range of activities to support our Eco School work including encouraging wildlife, eating a healthy break, composting food waste, planting vegetables and flowers, reducing single use plastics, reusing school uniform and walking our Daily Mile.
