On Wednesday 10th June P6 had the opportunity to see what Ballymena Academy has to offer with a day of fun activities. First we were treated to a performance from the junior drama club before moving on to the labs. There we looked at bugs through microscopes, tested acids and alkalis and had homemade robot races. After break we had a chinese workshop before testing our sporting skills on the pitch where even the rain didn‘t deter us.
After lunch we had our final two workshops in home economics and technology where we had to make rockets and test them. It was a great day thanks to lots of new experiences and a fabulously warm welcome from all the teachers and pupils.
