On Tuesday P5 had a great morning hosting their friends from St Columba’s Primary. They played ‘Get to Know You Bingo’ and created their own coats of arms so they could find out more about each other and then they had some playtime. After break they had a visit from members of the NI Fire and Rescue Service. They brought some of their equipment and demonstrated many of the jobs they train for, to keep us safe. They also told us what we could do for ourselves such as checking our smoke alarms and planning our escape routes. Some lucky people even got to try on the kit. Finally we had a look around the fire engine itself. Maybe there are some fire fighters of the future among the pictures.
