Today Mrs Millar led our assembly and the theme was teamwork. She began by challenging two teams to work together to reach the finish line. Well done to the Blue Team, who showed great cooperation and worked really well together!
Mrs Millar then reminded us of a story from the Bible about a man who could not walk. When his friends heard that Jesus was visiting a nearby house, they wanted to bring their friend to meet Him because they believed Jesus could make him better. However, when they arrived, the house was so full of people that they couldn’t get inside.
Determined to help their friend, they climbed onto the roof, made an opening, and carefully lowered him down to Jesus. When Jesus saw the man, He said, “Because of your friends’ faith, you are healed. Pick up your mat and go home.” The man was able to walk again!
This story is a wonderful example of the power of teamwork, friendship, and faith. Thank you, Mrs Millar, for reminding us how much we can achieve when we work together.
