Today, we had a fantastic drama session focused on the power of body language. Pupils learned how body language can tell a story, exploring how posture, movement and facial expressions can express a wide range of emotions and ideas.
We developed calming breathing techniques, discussed the importance of physical presence, and became more aware of how we communicate without words. The session was full of fun and energy as we acted out different emotions, experimented with movement, and even picked up some key drama vocabulary along the way.
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed ‘treading the boards’ and expressing themselves creatively – a wonderful opportunity to build confidence and have fun while learning!
