Today, our Digital Leaders led a very informative assembly all about staying safe online. They explained what AI (Artificial Intelligence) is and how it can be found in everyday tools such as Siri and Google, which use AI to help us find information and respond to questions.
The children learned that while AI can be very helpful, there are many things it cannot do, such as show true creativity, emotion or imagination. The Digital Leaders reminded everyone that AI should be used safely and responsibly, and that tools like the KPS Smart Bot don’t always know the right answer – asking the correct question is very important.
The assembly also included an important reminder about who our safe adults are and where to go for help if something online doesn’t feel right. Our Digital Leaders are always on hand to help keep everyone safe in the digital world.
