This half term P5 & 6 have become budding geologists. We have been looking at rocks and learning about where they come from. We didn’t know there were so many types and that they can be sorted according to how they have been formed. That has involved finding out about volcanoes and watching eruptions which are happening today, all around the world. We even had an eruption in our own classroom when a P4 came to show us his model volcano. We have also been learning about fossil hunters and how their discoveries have added to our understanding of all kinds of creatures. This week we are imagining what it must be like to climb a mountain. Who knows where we might end up!
