With Thursday being Outdoor Education day P5 & 6 were delighted to welcome Gareth and Ian to school to take a lesson on pond dipping. We spent a lovely autumn morning in the wildlife area looking at trees and searching for mini beasts in and around the pond. We were able to use a key to try to identify the creatures we found and decide how healthy our pond was. While we waited our turn we had fun looking at all the colours of the fallen leaves and creating a spectrum of autumn colours. It was great having some experts on hand to answer our questions and show us what to do.
