Today was another fantastic day at Woodhall, made even better by the glorious weather and the incredible energy of our pupils! From start to finish, the children showed resilience, enthusiasm, and a brilliant attitude as they took on a variety of exciting challenges.
After a hearty breakfast, we split into groups and took on the High Ropes Course, Leap of Faith and Human Jenga. Each activity pushed us to try something new and step outside of our comfort zones—whether it was balancing high above the ground or aiming for a bullseye!
In the afternoon, we changed into wetsuits and safety gear for the much-anticipated banana boating session. The thrill of bouncing over the water had everyone grinning from ear to ear. Some chose a ‘dry run,’ while others fully embraced the splash zone with a ‘wet run’—either way, we all had a brilliant time on the water.
This evening, we wound down with a scenic walking trail into Kilrea, where a well-deserved ice cream treat from Mullins awaited us. It was the perfect way to end an action-packed day.
We couldn’t be prouder of our P6/7 pupils for their courage, teamwork, and willingness to try new experiences. Day 2 has been a huge success, and we’re already looking forward to what tomorrow brings
