P6/7 Residential – Final Day Highlights
Our final day at the P6/7 Residential began with a hearty breakfast to fuel us for the adventures ahead. After packing up our rooms, we geared up for our final activity – canoeing at Movanagher.
Once we arrived, we were taught how to hold our paddles correctly and given some expert tips from our instructors. Then the fun really began! We headed out onto the water for races, games, and, for those feeling brave, the chance to jump in for a refreshing dip. It was a fantastic way to round off the trip, full of laughter, teamwork, and memories made.
Back at Woodhall, we enjoyed one last delicious lunch and took time to thank the amazing kitchen staff for looking after us so well. Afterwards, we gathered in the lounge to reflect on our time away – sharing our favourite moments, what we had learned, and the memories that will stay with us.
A huge thank you goes to Pamela, our group leader, and the rest of the staff, for their support and care throughout the trip. We also want to extend our deepest gratitude to the school staff who gave up their time to make this experience possible.
As we were preparing to leave, staff at the centre shared how impressed they were with the behaviour and manners of our pupils. We couldn't be prouder. Every single child stepped out of their comfort zone, supported each other, and embraced every challenge with enthusiasm.
Proud doesn’t even begin to cover it – well done, everyone!
