The boys and girls were very excited to pull on their welly boots and head outside into the garden. We gathered lots of shiny red apples in the secret garden and pulled up some baby carrots and parsnips from our vegetable beds. We found lots of leafy leeks and even a couple of potatoes. When we came inside we had a closer look at the vegetables and described how they felt, what they looked like and how they tasted. We cut them up and enjoyed printing with them. We’re looking forward to cooking with them next week.
