Today Key Stage 2 tried something new and had a live lesson with the Ulster Museum. P5&6 are currently learning about textiles so when we were offered a lesson on the subject of linen we thought we should have a go. After a couple of technical issues we managed to link up with Christabel at the Ulster folk museum who had sent us a mysterious silver case containing some artefacts. As the lesson progressed we took items out of the case to examine. She also showed us video clips from their resident weaver at the museum. It was an interesting experiment and we will be looking out to see what other topics they have on offer in the future.
