P1&2 were delighted when they arrived at school to find that their classroom had been transformed into a new Starbucks coffee shop! Miss Houston welcomed them as their barista and asked them to help her to design a new cup. They then carried out an experiment to find out what happens when you put chocolate into cold, warm and hot water. When it was time for a hot chocolate they had to choose their topping, write their order and find the correct coins to buy it. We worked in groups to design a new drink for our coffee shop. Everyone enjoyed the lovely treat and our special day was finished off when we received our Easter buns from the school council.
