### 🏃♀️ KPS Mini Marathon 🏃♂️
On Thursday, we were delighted to enjoy sunshine as we hosted our KPS Mini Marathon ☀️
This fun event, sponsored by the **London Marathon**, was the culmination of several weeks of training. Our pupils have been working hard on their long-distance running, pushing themselves to go a little further each day. We have been incredibly impressed by their positive attitude, perseverance and determination throughout 💪
On the day, our P7 pupils proudly wore their running numbers and supported the P1/2 class on their first lap — a fantastic display of teamwork and encouragement 👏 The younger pupils then took on the hill challenge, while the older classes completed laps of the school grounds. The goal was to reach 10 laps (approximately 2 miles), and many of our pupils achieved this excellent milestone 🏅
Every participant received a certificate, and we were proud to be awarded a beautiful trophy as a school 🏆
A huge thank you to Mrs Anderson for organising such a successful event, and to all our staff for supporting the training in the lead-up. We also extend our thanks to Mrs Kelso for arranging a refreshing treat at the end — kindly sponsored by Dale Farm 🥤
