P1&2 enjoyed reading the story of Jack and the beanstalk. P1 boys and girls planted some magic beans in the playroom and when they came back to school the next day a beanstalk had grown from them and there was a castle in the clouds. We haven’t spotted the giant yet but when everyone is quiet you can hear him say “Fee, fi, fo, fum!
We also planted some beans in cups and are watching them to see how they will grow. The little white roots are starting to go down into the soil. Hopefully the beanstalks will grow soon.
