Teddy bears of all shapes and sizes gathered at school with their owners from Kilrea Early Years and P1&2 for a teddy bears picnic. They had lots of fun playing in the playroom and classroom before going back to the assembly hall for for a picnic. To our horror Mrs Coopers teddy and the picnic had gone missing. We decided to go outside to have a search for them. In the playground we had a little play but there was still no sign of the bear. We followed the path past the football pitch and through the secret garden but we couldn’t find the bear. We went back inside to ask Mrs McCombe, her bear Paddington pointed us in the direction of the assembly hall and to our surprise there was the bear and he had set out all lovely picnic when we were outside. After our big walk the teddies and their owners were very hungry so they tucked in and gobbled all the food up. To finish off the picnic we had time to play in the assembly hall and have a bounce on the bouncy castle. We all had lots of fun together and hope that we will see our friends from Kilrea Early Years again soon.
