P7 had a great afternoon out at Hutchinson Engineering. The children were welcomed by Mark, before enjoying a very informative factory tour. We got to see innovative machinery, a robotic welder and the factory at work while keeping ourselves very safe. The children met a variety of employees and found out about the wide range of jobs available. We had a competition to try and match photos to actual machines while on our tour. Everyone got to have a go at welding using a welding simulator and our afternoon finished with drinks, sweets and a goodie bag. We would like to thank Mark and his staff very much for providing our coach to transport us to and from the factory and our lovely afternoon.
