P1&2 have been sowing grass seeds just like our farmers. They carried out an experiment to find out the best conditions to grow grass. They put soil into four tubs and sprinkled them with grass seeds. They put water into two tubs and left two dry. We put a wet and dry tub on the windowsill to get lots of sun and the other two tubs were put into a dark cupboard. After a week some of the seeds had started to grow. Then the seeds with no water didn’t grow at all. The tub that had water and sun grew lovely green grass and the tub with water that was in the dark grew grass but it was tall and thin and white.
Everyone then planted their own pot of grass and with some water and sunshine they grew lots of lovely grass. When the Grassmen went home they were ready for a haircut!
