Grandparents’ Morning – Celebrating Music, Memories and Christmas Cheer
Today, we were delighted to welcome our P6/7 grandparents to a very special morning filled with music, dance and Christmas cheer.
Our grandparents were warmly welcomed with a cup of tea and festive treats before enjoying a wonderful Christmas programme performed by the children. P6/7 sang a number of festive pieces together, and several pupils confidently showcased their individual talents. P6 gave a fantastic performance of Little Drummer Boy, while P7 shared a thoughtful and touching poem celebrating grandparents and the important role they play in family life.
At the end of the performances, everyone enjoyed time chatting and spending precious moments together. Mrs McCombe reminded us all of the vital role grandparents play in our children’s lives, highlighting how their time, patience and encouragement make such a positive difference.
The morning concluded with a joyful rendition of Jingle Bells, as grandparents were wished a very happy Christmas and a healthy, happy New Year.
It was a truly special and memorable morning, and we sincerely thank all of our grandparents for joining us and for their continued love and support.
