We were thrilled to enjoy a truly fabulous Sports Day this year, wonderfully organised by Mrs Cooper. The sun shone down on a day packed with laughter, teamwork, and fantastic sportsmanship.
The event kicked off with a variety of classic races – from sprinting to the ever-popular sack race and the challenging egg-and-spoon race. Cheers from the crowd spurred everyone on, from our youngest runners to our seasoned sprinters.
Our older children had a blast competing in the "Throw the Welly" competition – a test of strength, technique, and a bit of fun!
This year’s House Challenge Games were extra special, as they were all themed around Take 5, encouraging us to be active, connected, and mindful – all while having fun and supporting our house teams.
The grand finale brought even more smiles, with our much-anticipated Toddler Race, the hilarious Mums’ Egg-and-Spoon Race, and the crowd-favourite Dads’ Beanbag Race. A brilliant way to include everyone in the fun!
To top off a fantastic day, every child enjoyed a well-earned ice cream treat.
A huge thank you goes to all our amazing staff and our fabulous Primary 7 helpers who made sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. What a brilliant day for our school community – we’re already looking forward to next year!
