Cullybackey Active 8
20th Jun 2026
On Friday, P6 set off to Cullybackey College for a morning of interesting activities to give them a taste of post-primary school. Each group had two subjects to visit and ours were geography and history.
First we were given a passport so we could go on our travels to Japan, where there was a risk of earthquakes, and the rainforest where there was a jaguar on the loose. Finally we went to Egypt to learn about deserts. Along the way we tried building structures, identifying mystery objects and solving clues.
After our break we had a talk from the Navan Centre and met several characters from over 1000 years of history. It was a great visit and thanks to the staff of Cullybackey College for a very warm welcome.
