While P6 were having fun at Woodhall, P5 decided they should have some too, so this week they have been exploring comic strips and animations. They have watched cartoons, created comic characters, developed paracosms for them to inhabit, and drawn comic strips of their adventures. They have also done some modelling, making characters from pipe cleaners, tin foil and play dough and used their ipads to try out simple animations using Scratch and Stop Motion. There were some great ideas and, although Disney, Pixar and Aardman are safe for the time being, who knows where these budding ianimators and illustrators might end up.
