As part of our ‘Around the World with Paddington Bear’ topic, we have been exploring the Philippines this week. The children have been learning about the climate and what foods grow best in the Philippines compared to Northern Ireland. We got to sample different amazing fruits that grow there, including Pomegranate, Pineapple, Passion Fruit, Dragon Fruit and Papaya and discussed how they look, smell and taste.
