Mrs McCombe led our assembly today, marking the beginning of an exciting new term. Together, we reflected on the highlights of last year and shared what we’re looking forward to in the months ahead.
Mrs McCombe reminded us of our Golden Rules and how we will all be working hard to follow them each day. We also revisited our school motto: "From strong roots, great things grow" – a message that captures what we hope for every one of our boys and girls as they learn and grow this year.
Our school value for this half term is kindness, and we’re looking forward to celebrating and practising this value in everything we do.
We also celebrated our first Star of the Week winners! Certificates were awarded for:
⭐ A brilliant start to the school year
⭐ Going above and beyond by helping and looking after property
⭐ Fantastic public speaking
